About me

I’m Kyle Offutt

known online as KyleGoesOff. I left the 9–5 behind to travel full-time, documenting life on the road across the United States. Over the past several years, I’ve been sharing authentic videos of the people I meet, the meals I cook with strangers, and the unexpected adventures that come from living with curiosity and an open mind. My goal is to inspire others to embrace connection, seek new experiences, and see the extraordinary in the everyday.

I felt like I didn’t belong

Many of the interest I had growing up others didn’t share where I was born. It wasn’t until I spent years living nomadically that I found a tribe that felt like they were cut from the same cloth. Solo travel can become an isolating and lonely experience and make transitioning into this life or just going on trips intimidating. I’ve began using my platform to bring people from the digital realm to having real life experiences. Connecting others and building an in person community has been a way of creating something I wish I had when I was first starting.

So, I choose an unconventional path

I grew up in Kansas following a fairly traditional path by completing an engineering degree, having internships in aerospace companies and building a business from a dorm room to a warehouse that had an appearance on Shark Tank. But I always longed to leave my hometown to see the world and have an adventure that could inspire a lifetime of creative pursuits. So I sold all of my belongings, moved out of my apartment and hit the road living out of a small sedan to go after this dream.
